Development objection submissions
This service typically involves a 2 stage assessment process:
Stage 1: An initial desk-top review of the Development Application plans and supporting documentation against the relevant planning and development controls applying to the proposed development on the site to determine the level of compliance of the proposal with Council's controls, and a site visit to determine the the nature and extent of any proposed impacts (such as overlooking, overshadowing, view loss, etc.) arising from any identified non-compliances.
Stage 2: Should it be determined that there are sufficient grounds for objection based on the Stage 1 assessment, the preparation of a formal written submission to Council identifying the areas of non-compliance, the impacts arising from any non-compliances, and any suggested measures to address or mitigate those impacts.
